Recognition and specialities

ANZCAP recognition confers the use of professional post-nominals, through recognition portfolios at Pharmacist Resident (ANZCAP-Res.), Pharmacist Registrar (ANZCAP-Reg.) and Pharmacist Consultant (FANZCAP) level mapped to one or two of 46 areas of specialty pharmacy practice.

Upon recognition and after annual recognition renewal, ANZCAP provides downloadable assets to showcase your achievements through certificate, post-nominals, email signature and social media tiles which can be shared with colleagues or used in CVs, professional profiles and for job applications.

ANZCAP credentials showcase your commitment to pharmacy excellence, prove your skills are nationally transferable, and opens new doors for career advancement.

Pathways to recognition

ANZCAP provides structured pathways toward recognition and new opportunities no matter where you work.

The building blocks of ANZCAP are Learning Experiences (LXs), bite-sized activities that are either completed alone, with a collaborator or via an endorsed third party, to record evidence of your professional practice.

The Independent Pathway is available to Australian pharmacists across all practice settings to accumulate Learning Experiences (LXs) into a personal recognition portfolio, meeting requirements mapped to the National Competency Framework for Pharmacists in Australia (2016). The Independent Pathway is available to New Zealand registered pharmacists, alongside recognition for Pharmacy Technicians.
