  • To ensure patient confidentiality is upheld at all times
  • Lively discussion/debate is encouraged (the chats are not moderated).
  • Be kind. Do not attack others or use defamatory language.
  • The NZHPA and Chat group participants are prohibited from using or reproducing messages outside of the Chat Group except with the explicit permission of the person who is posting.
  • Do not engage in illegal actions, including but not limited to violating legislation, libel, or posting copyrighted materials.
  • Do not use the Chat Groups to market or sell services or products, or to post other commercial messages (finding and offering stock between hospitals is allowed)

  • You may not impersonate others through the Chat Group.
  • You may not encourage or help anyone in violation of these terms.

Although not moderated, members are encouraged to report to NZHPA Communications officer or Administrator any behaviour which they feel goes against the above Terms and Conditions, this will then be investigated and if these have been contravened the member responsible will be removed.
